![]() To find out more about sacred geometry, and to help you get started on drawing geometry, I have made some downloadable PDF documents, which include step by step instructions for constructing shapes. The idea is that seeing these geometric shapes help you understand. ![]() The qualities of oneness are: wholeness, unity, completion, containment, perfection, simplicity. Sacred Geometry is when symbolic meaning is added to some geometric shapes and proportions. The circle symbolises 'oneness' - the number One. The life of a man is in a circle from childhood to childhood and so it is in everything where power moves’ We find circles all around us: the sun, moon and planets the iris of our eyes, the ovum from which we grow, the centre of certain flowers, the seeds and fruits of many plants, a rain drop in water, a bubble of air, a cross section of a tree and so on.Įven the seasons form a great circle in their changing, and always come back again to where they were. Our experience of life and our sense of belonging becomes richer through appreciating these inter-connections between ourselves and the wholeness of nature. In fact, the more deeply we observe, the more patterns we may notice. Sacred geometry is essentially the study of the spiritual meaning of various shapes. In cycles of life, death and transformation, celestial movement, and the resonance of sound and light. Geometry in nature is expressed in the petals, leaves, seeds and fruits of plants, the physiology of bodies (including ourselves), the way things grow, move, flow, reproduce and interact. Understanding the qualitative value of shapes and numbers can offer profound and beautiful insights into the mysteries of life. ![]() Shapes are a kind of language, which can teach us something of the inherent quality of things. Sacred geometry involves sacred universal patterns used in the design of everything in our reality, most often seen in sacred architecture and sacred art. Within a world of seemingly endless variety, patterns and shapes are in fact repeated, time and again. W hen we look deeply at the world around us, we can see that everything in nature has its own intrinsic geometry, from the smallest micro-organism to the vastest galaxy. Everywhere you look on this planet, you will find that nature is based on two fundamental patterns: The Flower Of Life and the Fibonacci Sequence. Sacred geometry is the study of geometric forms and their metaphorical relationships to human evolution as well as a study in fluid evolutionary transitions of mind, emotions, spirit, and consciousness reflected in the succeeding transition from one sacred geometric form and its related consciousness state, into another. Sacred geometry is the study of shapes (and therefore numbers), from the perspective of their expression of the universal order underlying all of life.
